Ok, ok, I took another look at the recipe that I modeled my stuff after and discovered that I missed a couple of steps. Instead of just pouring and cooling it, the original instructions indicate stirring frequently as it cools to room temp, and then adding the Vit E and e.o. Oops!
As I’ve already rebatched it once, I’m not sure that I’ll bother doing it again. It depends on my level of “give-a-damn” when the morning comes.
HOWEVER! I’ve been playing with the results all day, deciding if I like the texture and what-not, and I’ve decided that I like how it feels. Not oily, not greasy, but moisturizing. And, I can still smell the beeswax even through the tea tree oil.
